About Us

Jordan Lake Creative Center (JLCC) is the non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational and work place readiness programs to individuals with exceptional needs. Services include individualized skill building and pre-vocational training programs as well as crafted experiential programs open to all individuals. We believe in the dignity of purpose and joyful work. Through JLCC, these individuals participate in activities such as learning marketable trades as an entry into the workforce, gaining financial literacy and other life skills, and environmentally and arts based workshops – all with the purpose of helping participants learn valuable workforce and life skills on their way to becoming more independent.

JLCC also provides grants for workshop programs in arts and environmental education through Jordan Lake School of the Arts (JLSA), a researched based pilot program for inclusive education. Students benefit from programs with artists and environmental educators in experiential opportunities through JLCC Grants. Visiting artists and educators bring creative programming with community connectivity and share a mutually beneficial experience with JLSA teachers, based on specialized interests meeting specialized instruction. This partnership ensures the skill and passion for an inclusive educational community continues to develop and be carried outward.
